Job Description

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a CAD Designer (electrical, mechanical or structural) to support the design of US Navy Test Facilities, as well as other design projects. This position will be based out of our office in Virginia Beach, VA. 

Qualifications:

 

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in structural, mechanical or electrical design 
• Experience with designing large scale machinery/equipment within large facilities is strongly preferred
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and drawing development, preferably with AutoCAD.
• 2D experience required, 3D experience a plus
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards in their respective discipline.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance
• Have strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Candidates with a “team player” mindset are preferred.
