**QC Technician - 2nd Shift - Food Manufacturing** Manufacturing Pomona , CA, US Pay Rate Low: 18 | Pay Rate High: 20 + Added - 22/08/2025 Apply for Job **Position Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our food manufacturing team. This role is essential in supporting production processes and maintaining quality standards throughout our operations. The successful candidate will maintain an active presence on the production floor and serve as a resource for production staff. **Location** : Onsite in Pomona, CA **Pay** : $18-$20/hour **Hours** : 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm **Type** : 6 month Contract-to-hire opportunity **Key Responsibilities** + Perform comprehensive quality checks on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products through inspection and visual assessment of packaging. + Conduct pre-operational inspections and environmental monitoring as required. + Execute daily GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) audits throughout production areas and warehouse facilities. + Perform allergen control inspections during pre-operational and work-in-progress phases. + Communicate any non-conformity issues or violations to facility management in a timely manner. **Required Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent + Minimum 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment + Knowledge and experience with general food safety programs and policies including government regulations, FDA, USDA, AIB, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Programs. + Ability to work full-time/flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. + Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. + Ability to compose and write descriptive reports. + Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
